1 – 2 Years in Forging / Production Supervision
Job Description Production Management: Plan and execute daily production schedules, monitor forging operations including heating, hammering/pressing and trimming, and ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower and materials. Minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Shop Floor Supervision: Supervise operators, helpers and furnace staff, allocate shifts, maintain workforce discipline and ensure proper handling of hammers, presses and furnaces.
Quality Control: Ensure products meet required specifications and tolerances, coordinate with the quality team for inspections and testing, and reduce rejection and rework through process control.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures in high-temperature working environments, proper use of PPE and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Maintenance Coordination: Report machine issues, coordinate with the maintenance team and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain production reports, shift logs and downtime records, track raw material usage and wastage, and report daily production progress to the Production Manager.
Special Notes Male candidate required. Strong practical knowledge of forging processes and shop-floor production supervision is preferred. Candidate should be comfortable managing operators, furnace staff and production activities.
